Six Coin Silver Teaspoons by John Baptiste Dumoutet
Six coin silver teaspoons, most likely
Charleston, S.C. but possibly Philadelphia.
The spoons are marked “Doumoutet” and the monogram appears to be
JD.” John Baptiste Dumoutet worked in
Philadelphia from 1793 to 1802 and Charleston, S.C. from 1802 until his death
in Charleston in 1813. Spoons are 5-1/4
inches in length. Generally in very good
condition other than normal wear.
