Six Raleigh, North Carolina bright cut
coin silver teaspoons, circa 1810, 6 inches in length. Marked “J. SCOTT” for Jehu Scott. According to Cuttin in Silversmiths of
North Carolina, Scott first advertised in Raleigh, NC on December 1, 1806
as a seller of jewelry and silverware.
He died in 1821. All spoons are
in very good condition.
