Orleans, Louisiana coin silver sauce boat with molded rim, oval foot and
c-scroll handle with decorative pierced, double scroll terminus. Marked on underside “A.H./N.O.” A.H. is the mark of Adolph Himmel who worked
in New Orleans from 1852 to 1877.
Monogram “AA” or “RR” on front.
6¼ inches high and 8¼ inches in width and 3¾ inches in depth. 8.46 oz. troy. Some minor dents and scratches. Sauce boats made in the South are very rare.
